This visual essay tells a story of Black Power.
There is a shift happening not only in the black community but in general culture, in which black creatives are redefining what it means to be a part of the diaspora, creating our own future in a way that we have never been able to do before.
Whether this is due to more accepting traditional parents or the world finally beginninng to acknowledge our contributions and making space for us and our work, it is important to document the creatives behind this cultural shift.
This series uses models from creative/musical backgrounds, who are defining what it is to be Black in Britain through their work; The Black Renaissance.
